I’ve seen it many times as I’m sure that you have too. “Full-Service Real Estate Company”, “We Specialize in Everything” or “We Focus on Appraisals, Real Estate Investors, First Time Home Buyers, Listings, Sales, Residential Leasing, Commercial Leasing, Property Management, blah, blah, blah”
Let’s face it… if you tried to be something for everyone you end up being nothing to anyone. It’s impossible to focus on and be the best in everything. In Basketball, players can lead in assists or blocks, but not both. Magic Johnson aside, point guards can’t effectively play center.
When I started my real estate company, we had one and only one goal in mind… property management. We don’t want to be appraisers or first time homebuyer or senior specialists. We want to be the world’s best property managers. We want to focus on our real estate investor clients and spend all of our energy trying to make their properties perform at their highest possible potential. We simply love investment real estate.
In real estate, like any other type of sales, referrals are the best compliment. If you want to buy that first home, downsize or upsize, please DON’T think of me. It’s not my passion.
